Well its been super busy around here with all things Friction that I have not updated the blog as much as I would like. So I am super excited to introduce Goby Catt taking over for me on bass. Whats the deal you may ask? Well I really love the back end of things ( insert your own bad joke here! ) things are getting so busy around here that I am having a hard time juggling rehearsals, gigs and back end.  Goby Catt is an amazing friend of mine and a monster talent on the bass. Its a win win for Friction Project. I am looking forward to introducing you to him in person. We are currently working on a whole bunch of show booking and will keep you posted right here. Check out the new bio pic http://www.frictionprojectband.com/fp8x10biopdf.pdf  taken by our good friend and amazing photographer Clare Baker at http://www.cbvisual.com/

I tunes

Super excited to see our album on Itunes. It made me think back to the 90's when Tommy Mottola was married to Mariah Carey, at the time he was also the head of Sony. To make sure that Mariah's album debut at #1 he authorised a buy back, so the company its self bought back enough records to create a huge buzz . It really is a tempting thought but looking at my bank account I redirected my thoughts to other forms of attention.

Talking about attention I wanted to give a shout out to our drummer, Frank Baker for his recent interview in Music Legends Magazine . Frank talks about his days with legendary rock band Trooper and Nick Gilder  http://musiclegends.ca/interviews/frank-baker-interview/ .

CD Release party will be coming up followed by a tour. We really looking forward to connecting with everyone. So please check us out the full album can be heard on
CBC Radio http://music.cbc.ca/#/artists/Friction-Project/fans

If you fall in love , which we hope you do, you can buy it on I tunes
